The simplest yardstick to assess the progress of a student’s learning and understanding is by means of regular tests and assignments. If we are busy only teaching them without spending time to check if and how they are grasping the subject, our work would rather seem incomplete. We hand out regular assignments and worksheets to our students to see not only their level of understanding but also assess them in terms of their time management skills.
Our tests are time bound which gives them a sense of prioritization and the inherent need to break up complex problems into manageable small sections. With every passing test and assignment, students pick up pace and gain confidence to solve the problems with greater ease and clarity. They build a stronger mind makeup and find themselves much better equipped to face the regional and national level competitive exams and tests that lie ahead.
